The problem
Traditional cotton thobes pull tight across the shoulders when you reach or sit, putting stress on the seams — while soft knits sag, cling and bag out at the elbows and knees.
The solution
Integrated elastomeric cores act like micro-springs inside the fabric. The loops expand up to 30% under movement and snap back to 100% of their original dimension the moment tension is released, so the silhouette never sags or clings.

The problem
Cotton is a sponge. It absorbs sweat deep into the fibre core — holding up to 27 times its weight in water — trapping damp heat against the skin and feeding the bacteria that cause odour.
The solution
Hydrophobic continuous-filament nylon refuses to absorb water into the fibre. Sweat is drawn along the smooth filament surface by capillary action and spread wide for rapid evaporation, keeping the fabric light and the skin dry.

The problem
Wet cotton breaks its hydrogen bonds and locks them back in whatever crumpled shape it dries in. That is why traditional fabrics demand endless ironing or dry-cleaning.
The solution
Nylon and spandex chains do not undergo hydrogen-bond slippage when wet, and a durable cross-linking finish actively presses the loop structure back into a flat plane as water evaporates — the fabric smooths itself with body heat or a low-heat tumble.

Does it look like a gym shirt or athletic wear?
Not at all. Standard gym wear uses circular knits that cling to your body. Faraja uses a high-density vertical construction that drapes cleanly away from your body, giving you the clean, structured look of a traditional tailored thobe.
Can I really put this in the washing machine and dryer?
Yes. Unlike delicate traditional garments, Faraja is engineered for modern convenience. Simply wash on cold, tumble dry on low, and hang it up. The fabric’s built-in memory pushes wrinkles out automatically.
How does it keep me cool in extreme heat?
Cotton traps sweat inside its fibres, holding damp heat against your skin. Faraja fibres pull moisture to the surface where it evaporates up to 3 times faster, keeping you dry and comfortable even in 50°C climates.
Does it look like a traditional thobe?
Yes, absolutely.
